ESR Power Banks Recalled
WayMeet Limited is conducting a voluntary recall of
its ESR Wireless Power Banks
The lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Consumers should immediately stop using the wireless power banks. Consumers should contact WayMeet Limited for instructions to receive a full refund and submit a photo showing the model number with “Recalled” written on the power bank in permanent marker.
Incidents/Injuries
The firm has received nine reports of the lithium-ion battery catching fire and exploding, resulting in property damages.

Consumer Contact
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power banks and contact ESR for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to send to support@esrtech.com a photo of the recalled power bank showing the model number with the word “Recalled” written on it in permanent marker. Consumers can call WayMeet at 03-7045-1940 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. AEST Monday through Friday for more information.

If your power bank matches one of the recalled models sold in the U.S. or Canada:
- Stop using it immediately.
- Write “Recalled” in permanent marker next to the model number, or tape a note with “Recalled” written on it if the surface is black.
- Take a photo showing the model number and the “Recalled” marking.
- Email support@esrtech.com with the subject line: [Model] ESR Power Bank Recall. Include your order number, purchase channel, model number, and the photo.
- Do not dispose of the power bank until you receive an email confirming your recall eligibility.
